Shipping Policy

We strive to process and ship all in-stock merchandise within two (2) business days of receiving your order. Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Domestic Shipping

Estimated delivery times after your order has shipped:

• Continental U.S.: 3–8 business days

• Alaska & Hawaii: 2–4 weeks

Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are subject to change without notice.

Please note:

• Oversized, heavy, or freight-intensive items may incur additional shipping charges.

• Some products may not qualify for free shipping.

• If additional shipping charges apply, we will contact you before your order is shipped.

International Shipping

International orders are welcome.

• Payment must be made in U.S. funds using a major credit card or PayPal.

• Customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and import charges required by their country.

• International orders are held until the customer confirms shipment. Once confirmed, we will invoice the actual USPS shipping charges.

• Delivery times vary by destination but generally range from 2–4 weeks after shipment.

Return Policy

Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, most items may be returned within 30 days of delivery.

Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival. Quilt kits and Block of the Month programs often contain fabric pieces that are folded together. Please unfold all fabrics carefully to ensure every piece listed in the pattern is included.

If your order is incorrect, damaged, or incomplete, please contact us within 30 days so we can resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Unfortunately, we cannot replace, reship, or refund orders reported after 30 days from the delivery date.

Return Requirements

Returned merchandise must:

• Be unused and in original condition

• Include original packaging

• Be free of odors, stains, pet hair, smoke, or other signs of use

• Include a copy of your receipt or order confirmation

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as Sadie Quilts cannot be responsible for returns lost in transit.

Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Refunds are issued as store credit, unless otherwise required by law or approved at our discretion.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

• Gift cards

• Downloadable products or digital patterns

• Cut fabric

• Washed, dyed, or altered fabric

• Sale or clearance merchandise

• Patterns

• Books

• Items showing signs of use

Order Cancellations

Orders canceled before shipment are subject to a 5% cancellation/restocking fee, including preorders and special-order merchandise.

Class & Event Policies

In-Person Classes

Because materials are prepared in advance and classroom space is limited, the following cancellation policy applies:

• Cancellations made 7 or more days before class will receive a refund minus a 10% processing fee.

• Cancellations made less than 7 days before class will receive store credit, minus the 10% processing fee.

• No refunds or credits are available once a class has begun.

• If Sadie Quilts cancels a class, participants may choose either a full refund or transfer to another class.

Students are encouraged to purchase required supplies before class to ensure they are prepared.

Virtual Classes

Virtual classes are conducted primarily using Zoom.

Registered students will receive login information by email before class begins.

Unless otherwise noted:

• Virtual classes may be recorded.

• When recordings are available, registered students will receive temporary access for the viewing period specified with the class.

• Login information and recordings are for registered participants only and may not be shared.

• Due to the digital nature of virtual classes, no refunds are available if a student cannot attend or does not watch the recording during the access period.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us.

Sadie Quilts uses industry-standard SSL encryption to help protect your personal information during online transactions.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

When you place an order, register an account, subscribe to our newsletter, enter promotions, or contact us, we may collect information such as:

Additional Store Policies

Preorder Policy

From time to time, Sadie Quilts offers products for preorder, including fabric collections, kits, books, notions, and other specialty items.

• Release dates are provided by manufacturers and distributors and are estimates only. Delivery dates may change without notice.

• Payment is collected at the time the preorder is placed unless otherwise stated.

• Orders containing both preorder and in-stock items will generally be shipped together once all items are available. If you would like in-stock items shipped separately, please place a separate order or contact us. Additional shipping charges may apply.

• If a manufacturer discontinues or short-ships a product, we will notify you as soon as possible and issue a refund or store credit for the unavailable item.

• Preorder cancellations are subject to a 10% cancellation/restocking fee.

Block of the Month (BOM) Policy

Block of the Month programs are designed as ongoing monthly commitments.

• Registration reserves your place in the program and allows us to order materials specifically for you.

• Monthly payments are due before each shipment or pickup.

• If a payment method is declined, shipment may be delayed until payment is received.

• Participants who wish to cancel must notify Sadie Quilts before the next monthly billing cycle.

• Due to advance ordering and kit preparation, previously shipped months are non-refundable.

• If a program includes exclusive patterns or fabrics, substitutions may be necessary due to manufacturer availability.

Longarm Quilting Services

We are honored to help finish your quilt!

Quilt Preparation

Please ensure that:

• Quilt tops are pressed and free of loose threads.

• Backing fabric is at least 4 inches larger on all sides than the quilt top.

• Quilt backs are squared and seams are securely pressed.

• Batting is appropriately sized for the quilt.

If your quilt requires additional preparation before quilting, additional charges may apply.

Turnaround Time

Estimated turnaround times vary based on seasonal demand and current workload. We will provide an estimated completion date when your quilt is accepted.

Rush service may be available for an additional fee.

Payment

Payment is due upon completion before the quilt is picked up or shipped.

Quilts not picked up within 90 days of notification may be subject to storage fees. Quilts left unclaimed for an extended period may be considered abandoned in accordance with applicable law.

While every effort is made to provide the highest quality workmanship, quilting may occasionally reveal imperfections in piecing, seams, or fabric that existed prior to quilting.

Gift Card Policy

• Gift cards may be purchased in any available denomination.

• Gift cards are redeemable for merchandise and classes offered by Sadie Quilts.

• Gift cards are non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash except where required by law.

• Lost, stolen, or damaged gift cards cannot be replaced without proof of purchase.

• Gift cards do not expire unless required by applicable law.

Pricing & Product Availability

We strive to ensure that all pricing, descriptions, and inventory information on our website are accurate.

However:

• Prices and product availability are subject to change without notice.

• We reserve the right to correct pricing, typographical, or photographic errors at any time.

• If an item is unavailable after your order has been placed, we will notify you promptly and offer a refund, store credit, or substitute (when appropriate).

• Colors displayed on computer and mobile screens may vary slightly from actual fabric due to monitor and device settings.

Copyright & Pattern Use

All patterns, class materials, photographs, and educational content provided by Sadie Quilts are protected by copyright and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or shared without written permission from the copyright holder.

Patterns and digital downloads are intended for the purchaser's personal use unless otherwise specified by the designer.

Class Supply Policy

Unless otherwise noted, students are responsible for bringing all required supplies listed on the class supply list.

Purchasing supplies from Sadie Quilts helps support our ability to continue offering quality classes and educational programs, and we appreciate your support.

Students are encouraged to review supply lists before class and arrive prepared to ensure the best learning experience for everyone.

Special Orders

Special order merchandise is ordered specifically for an individual customer and, therefore, cannot be canceled, returned, or exchanged once the order has been placed with our supplier unless the item arrives damaged or defective.

Customers will be notified when their special order arrives and should arrange pickup or shipping within a reasonable timeframe.

Sales Tax

Applicable state and local sales taxes will be collected on orders as required by law.

Limitation of Liability

Sadie Quilts' liability for any claim relating to products or services purchased from us shall be limited to the purchase price of the item or service in question. We are not responsible for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of our products, except where prohibited by law.
